Hello, I’m Australia’s only authentic 1920s – 1930s singer with jazz trio to orchestra.
Greg Poppleton 1920s-30s band highlights include ABC Radio Sydney’s 100th Anniversary Show, Sydney Festival (twice), Waiheke Jazz Festival (NZ) and the Great Art Deco Ball (12 years resident band).
When I was 3, I saw Louis Armstrong on TV and have been hooked on 1920s – 1930s jazz and swing since.
US jazz radio stations have my Phantom Dancer album on their swing music play lists with Bing Crosby, Judy Garland, and Billie Holiday.
I bring the era to life so your event will be a dazzling Hollywood experience. Think Gatsby, vintage glamour, prohibition and speakeasies.
Available now for your wedding, party, event, and corporate
Poppleton’s vocals capture the essence of the swing years with uncanny accuracy.

At the Melbourne Jazz Festival and the Thredbo Jazz Festival I saw some great acts. I made Greg Poppleton an offer (to play Waiheke Jazz Festival) on the spot.
