Tune in, tomorrow, Thursday 23 November, to enjoy Greg Poppleton and his Broadcasters sing and play the songs of the 1920s for the 100th Anniversary of Radio in Australia.
You’ll hear us on 702 AM ABC Radio Sydney, which as 2SB, and then 2BL, was the first COMMERCIAL radio station in Australia. The ABC was not formed until 1932.
I’ll be singing live-to-air, and announcing in 1920s style, over ABC Radio Sydney in an outside broadcast from the State Library of NSW.

We then play our 1920s swing jazz show to an audience of 300 at the State Library from 11am – to noon. (Then I race off to an acting gig).
