We played for the birthday person 10 years ago and we’re looking forward to helping celebrate this next milestone in their life.
It’s the Roaring Twenties – the era of Prohibition. Bars close early and underground establishments that illegally sell alcoholic beverages have sprung up in their place. The young wild folks, known as “flappers and dappers”, drink, smoke and dance all night at these “speakeasies”, having a good time and getting a little “loosey-goosey” without having to worry about being in trouble for doing so.
This is a fun theme for birthday parties or inventive engagement parties. Whether you choose to hire a venue with a bar already set up, or use your own joint, get ready for a wild evening of authentic 1920s jazz by Greg Poppleton, canapés, Champagne and Manhattans.
